Pipeworx challenged the employees to donate and matched the fund raising campaign, the employees donated a total of $4,500, Pipeworx matched that amount for a grand total of $9,000.
Pipeworx Health Safety and Environment Director Tim Adekola said the “STARS program provides a level of assurance for employees working in remote areas. STARS medical helicopters can offer access to critical care in minutes should the need ever arise.” The STARS helicopters are staffed and outfitted as mobile intensive care units, patients receive the very best in immediate critical care. The STARS fleet of helicopters are available from Alberta to Manitoba offering six different bases of operations.
