Jake Waldner

Pipeline / Facility Supervisor

Jake has over 20 years’ experience in the pipeline and facility industry. His skill range is anywhere from operating equipment to supervising large crews on both pipeline and facility construction sites. Jake has worked on pipe sizes ranging from 2” to 48” in diameter and worked with all facets of the industry. His vast knowledge base of both of these areas have allowed him to advance quickly into his current supervisory role.

Kevin Walters

Pipeline / Facility Supervisor

Kevin started out his pipeline career with Midwest General Contractors for 15 years working with large diameter pipe. He climbed the success ladder along the way during his employment there later specializing in the pipe coating side of things. Kevin has supervised crews for a number of years and has been very successful in doing so. With his experience in the industry Kellam was pleased to have Kevin join our team.

Cody Gerlitz

Pipeline / Facility Supervisor

Cody has been a Journeyman welder for 20+ years, after owning his own custom fabrication shop Cody made the transition to Pipeline Supervisor and has continued to provide Pipeline and Facility supervisory for over 10 years.

Lou Arcand

Facility Superintendent

Lou has been working in the Oil & Gas industry for over 20 years and has an excellent reputation with all of his clients. Lou has been with Pipeworx for 5 years now and is a highly preferred superintendent requested by everyone he performs work for.

Chris Thompson

Facility Superintendent

Chris began with Wolf Projects as a Superintendent in 2004. He carries with him over 17 years of varied oil and gas industry experience including operations and facility / plant construction. Chris is known for being well versed in B31.3 piping codes, quality control, and Alberta Safety standards. He is fluent in the Acorn piping system and professionally trained in B31.3.

Cory Playfair

Pipeline / Facility Superintendent

Cory began with Wolf Projects as a Superintendent in 2006. He carries with him over 10 years of varied oil and gas industry experience including operations, maintenance, facility and pipeline construction. Cory is recognized for his strong work ethics, quality of craftsmanship and knowledge of the construction processes. Cory has been trained in all aspects of B31.3 and Z662 Codes.

Dale Burgess

Facility Superintendent

Dale has over 30 years in the industry as a ticketed JM pipefitter. His background consists of single well to full sized gas plants from the beginning to the turn over package. Dale is a true leader and a great mentor for all that he oversees.

Chris Harris

Facility Superintendent

Chris has been in the field for ten plus years working on both pipeline and facility, he is a Journeyman Pipefitter with his Red Seal and has worked for Pipeworx now for over four years constructing facility sites in Northern Alberta.

Nelson Berggren

Superintendent

At a very young age, Nelson has memories of a pipeline crew working close to his home town where he quickly became acquainted with some of the workers and was fortunate enough to obtain employment as a labourer in the industry, and the rest is history. Nelson has exceptional knowledge of the pipeline industry and very strong leadership qualities. Over the years, Nelson has gained experience supervising and managing many projects. Nelson holds safety and quality enforcement in the highest regards.

Archie Plante

Facility Superintendent

Archie has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and is asked for by name by all of our client’s that have had him on previous projects. Archie has the highest standards of quality and efficiency as well as exemplary safety record on all of his projects. Archie’s efforts are concentrated on facility projects large or small and has currently spent the last 2 years up in Fort McMurray for Conoco in their Surmont plant where we are completing projects related to Phase 1 and well into Phase 2 expansion program.

Paul Wurz

Facility Superintendent

Paul started his career with Kellam Pipelines. He worked for several years as a general labourer/pipefitter apprentice, working his way up into his current role as a Supervisor. Paul’s energies focused around facility construction and he has a full working knowledge and understanding of pipefitting that stems anywhere from single well tie‐ins to large gas plant and battery sites. Again, Paul is another prime candidate as a Pipeworx employee internally trained and promoted within our organization, and are very pleased with his diligent progression and attitude toward our HSE program.

Calvin Kloet

Superintendent

Calvin began his career with Banister Pipelines in 1999 where his Dad was the Master Mechanic & with the business changing hands followed his Dad to Flint Energy. Calvin started his career working as a labourer/lead hand for a few years where he started his welding apprenticeship. He then worked alongside many of the welders with Flint Energy, O.J. Pipelines, Lincoln County & Benedict Pipelines. This is where he was first introduced to Kelly Gillam, Owner of Kellam Pipelines Inc. Kellam is where Calvin finished his welding apprenticeship and also began working as a Foreman. Calvin realized that this supervisor was a better fit for him and he enjoyed the daily challenges and so he continued in this direction and is currently supervising ongoing projects for Pipeworx in various areas of Western Canada.

Cory Chomos

Facility Superintendent

Cory has been working for Pipeworx since 2007. He started out his career as a very ambitious labourer. With his strong expertise and knowledge of the industry, he has worked his way to be one of Pipeworx’s top performing Superintendents today. Cory is fluent in the Acorn piping system and keeps a very clean and organized Quality Control package. Cory has proven to be an outstanding, reliable and an energetic asset to the Pipeworx team holding Safety at its highest regards.

Mike Nash

Pipeline / Facility Superintendent

Mike has 21+ years’ experience in all phases and aspects of the oil and gas industry. He is very hard working, conscientious, has excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and complete work efficiently and safely. He comes very highly recommended by Pipeworx to manage the complete on of our Pipeline and Facility projects while maintaining company standard Quality Control packages.

Jesse Zastrow

Pipeline / Facility Superintendent

Jesse has had an employment history with Pipeworx since November 2008 when he started as a very ambitious labourer. Shortly thereafter he was promoted to Lead Hand and then Facility Superintendent in November 2013. Jesse had extensive knowledge of the Pipeline and facility work field where he has been working for numerous years.

Josh Anholt

Facility Superintendent

Josh has been in the industry for 16 years and started at a very young age and has worked for numerous reputable contractors throughout his career. Josh has been involved with both facility and pipelines and is well versed in both. Josh has been involved in leadership roles on Pipelines from 2” to 42” and has been involved in major Canadian projects from the Keystone to the line 4 extension. Josh was fortunate enough to grow up in Amisk, Ab just outside of Hardisty , Ab a major Canadian Oilfield Hub and has been around Oilfield Professionals his whole life. Josh’s professionalism and no nonsense approach to projects is what have brought Josh his current success and his diversity in all facets of the Oil & Gas Industry.
